Postby Kev » Sun Mar 20, 2016 5:40 am

Version 9.4.7

  • IMPR: Added support of new throttle system for SABnzbd version 1.0.0+..
  • IMPR: Updated icons in Backup/Restore view.
  • FIX: Fixed issue where uploading nzb file(s) to SABnzbd would fail.
  • FIX: Fixed crash when attempting to download nzb files on Marshmallow.
  • FIX: Fixed title running into "SEND TO NZBGET" button in a Search item's detail view.
  • FIX: Fixed issue where nzb360 couldn't update to latest version if storage access was denied on Marshmallow. App will now ask for storage permission (if it doesn't have access) during update.

Let me know what you think of this release! =)

Updated to this version. Now it tells me that there is a new version available whenever I restart this app. Download again but then it loops all over again.

Try downloading direct from nzb360.com and applying the update that way. With Marshmallow permissions, things got a bit weird with the last two versions of nzb360. This version should resolve those issues completely moving forward, however.

@Kev, tried that and no go. Deleted and reinstalled and have same problem. If I install previous version, it works fine. Also,I am on lollipop.

Am I the only one with this problem? If I install 9.4.6 it runs fine but it tells me there is no update when I check.

If I uninstall and then install 9.4.7 it keeps on telling me there is an update available. I then tell it to download and update, which it does, and then immediately tells me again that there is a new update available. O joy.

EDIT: My nexus tablet which is running kit kat is doing exactly the same, so I doubt it is my hardware. Must be something with the new version.

Haven't got a single other report of this issue. Just verified the code of v9.4.7 reports the right version code that exists on the server as well. This is very odd that you're getting that notification update; it really shouldn't happen.

Kev, I did some more investigating.

It seems that something that my ISP is doing is causing this coupled with changes you made in the last 2 versions. Al the previous versions before that worked and updated fine. 9.4.6 worked fine but did not show that there was an update and 9.4.7 shows there is constantly and update (all this with my current ISP).

If I try a different ISP, everything is fine. So I guess that I must either just use 9.4.6 or change my ISP.

Thanks for the assistance.

Maybe it's the modem/router ? Maybe some caching going on that keeps giving you the 'new update available' response when NZB360 is starting ?

As I said, if I change to an account of another ISP, it works 100%. So I must be something with my current ISP.
